General information about the band: Banda
formed in 1990 in Gothenburg, Sweden. It is considered a primitive bands in the characteristic sound of melodic Death Metal that city, along with other groups such as At The Gates and Dark Tranquillity. After a decade of stay in the Death Metal, addressing gender changed towards a more metalcore sound. They have released 9 albums of long-term study. Recommendation Label:
In Flames is a band famous in the early nineties from Sweden and world-renowned for its unique style in metal. The group began playing melodic death metal and half of his career, his album "Reroute to Remain" in 2002, morphed into the ranks of modern metal and heavy rock. For better or for worse, however, and many fans did not approve the change in style of the band, In Flames is still one of the most important bands of the international metal.

Prior to this significant change of style In Flames suffer, at least three published record of excellent quality materials and full of good melodic death metal. On this occasion recommend its fifth studio album released in 2000 and entitled "Clayman." With twelve songs, in some editions to two bonus tracks and almost fifty minutes duration, "Clayman" was released via Nuclear Blast Records and recorded in the landmark studies Fredman producer Fredrik Nordström. is true that this album is the prelude to the transition from In Flames to new rhythms. Perhaps because of this, the CD contains significant and classic songs in the career of the Swedish group. Some of these issues are "Pinball Map", "Suburban Me", the very "Clay Man" or the brilliant "Bullet Ride". On songs like "Only for the Weak" and "Square Nothing" can be seen an extremely melodic In Flames, however, the aggressive side of In Flames is not lost at all on this album. Tracks like "Another Day in Quicksand", "Brust the Dust Away" are full of powerful riffs.

On songs like "... As the Future Repeats Today" and "Swim" is a guitar work very well prepared and thorough, the style of In Flames. The great rola "Satellites and Astronauts", the greater length album, is almost a melodic metal chair. Overall, the "Clayman" is a great album, certainly one of the best in the career of In Flames. The disc is worth it enough not only because it has a deathmetalera essence, but it is also a collection of melodic passages almost unbeatable. If you beat these styles of metal, probably the "Clayman" by In Flames'll like it. Official Website
