General information about the band: Banda
originally from France formed in 2000. Integrated into his style Death, Thrash and Groove Metal. Have four more full length albums and an EP material and a live album. Interestingly, Joe Duplantier, guitarist and vocalist, she participated as a bassist on the debut album from Cavalera Conspiracy, to bring together Max and Igor Cavalera, Sepultura founding members. Joe only played the first album. Recommendation Label:
But that is not a band as famous, the French band Gojira, has been opening way slowly among the big names and monsters of metal. Even in the anonymity of the big industry metalera, this band has great things to offer and it is thanks to the work of fans and lovers of groove metal, which is increasingly heard of Gojira. On this occasion, we will recommend them their study material released in 2005 called "From Mars to Sirius."

"From Mars to Sirius", released by Listenable Records, represents the third installment of only four study materials made by the group. This album is also the material that has received rave reviews and Gojira catapulted to the international metal scene. The album contains twelve tracks and a duration of little over an hour. The Japanese version of the cover material includes the song "Escape" by Metallica. While Gojira is difficult to pigeonhole, his musical trunk ranges from death metal and groove, although they noted some thrash tendencies. On the other hand, the group is known for his lyrics address issues related to ecology and environment and include in their albums and songs atmospheric instrumental passages, which turns your albums into attractive and, above all, different from what has already been heard before. The drums and bass work are more than good and the riffs of his rolas are loaded with several progressions and interesting arrangements. The voice ranges from the hardcore and death metal, so the combination of these elements is really excellent.

Some of his best songs are "The Haviest Matter of the Universe", "Backbone" and "From The Sky." Topics such as "Unicorn" or "From Mars" contain the musical version with hardly be saddled. The band led by Joe Duplantier, who in 2008 participated as a guitarist on the first disc of Cavalera Conspiracy, "Inflikted" has created a good mix between thrash, death, groove and even a bit of progressive metal and atmospheric touches. Nothing negligible to listen or to recommend. The influence of GroupA as Mastodon, Meshuggah and Sepultura is notorious in this band, so if you beat those sounds, insurance Gojira find much worthwhile.
