General information about the band: Banda
formed in 1988 in Florida, USA. A pioneer in the fusion of Death Metal with Jazz and the inclusion of progressive elements. Between 1988 and 1994 released 3 albums, then broke up and reunited in 2006. "Jupiter" is the first record of the new phase of the band. Recommendation Label: Atheist
home is a band that formed in the late eighties and led by guitarist / vocalist Kelly Shaefer. At its inception, the group released, above all, two high-quality materials. His albums "Piece of Time" and "Unquestionable Pressence" drew considerable attention by the demonstrated ability to execute great thrash with technical and progressions to play death metal. Unfortunately Atehist disintegrated in mid 90's and spent many years of inactivity.

was not until late afternoon, with more than ten years of inactivity, which announced its meeting Atheist, participated in the Wacken Open Air Festival in 2009 and released his most recent work entitled "Jupiter", which this time we recommend. This is the fourth study material from the band. Edited by Season of Mist Recordings and released in November 2010, the CD has eight tracks and a duration of only just over half an hour. However, so little time was enough to Atehist to show that they returned with all the accumulated power and performance technique perhaps much more polished. The album is quite technical. Not only is experienced enough with the typical progression of death metal, but thrash is well explored and full of progressions. Atheist's sound is definitely influenced by jazz, which is noted in the bars of the songs. They are the first riffs of "Second to Sun" which gives a sample of what is going to expect the album. The first song makes it clear that each instrument, including voice work is detailed developed. And indeed, it remains "Fictitious Glide", a major issue that guitar and drums are so cool look.

"Frudulent Cloth" is definitely one of the most progressive and the best technical note of the band. The intro of "Live and Live Again" takes the first break of power, but is brutally interrupted by his riffs and dime "Faux King Christ." "They throw the Tortoise" and "When the Beast" are excellent songs, perhaps two of the best in this album. The perfect CD closes with "Third Person". The "Jupiter" Athesit is a solid material that can be heard easily from start to finish. The album is so complex, attractive and powerful that it is difficult not to be interested to hear, and even more not to like the lovers of death and thrash metal. Official Website
